Vendors whose checkout already has someone mid-restoration with a guide in one tab and parts in the other — CB750 specialists, broad Japanese and British catalogues, American V-twin and BMW Airhead outfits alike. A reader who landed on your parts page is the same reader who buys the matching guide.

Shops that publish — newsletters, build threads, restoration write-ups, customer-facing case studies — so their customers already buy the IronHead guide for a model before they sign the work order. A code in your service write-up, footer, or printed estimate earns on every attributed sale.

Marque clubs (CB750, Bonneville, Norton Commando, Ironhead Sportster, Ducati bevel-drive, BMW Airhead, BSA) whose members read restoration copy the same way they read marque history. A sticky thread banner, a footer slot on the club site, or a footnote in the club newsletter is enough.

Our audience is the same audience you're already writing for: riders restoring vintage motorcycles from a bench, on a budget, with a guide in one tab and parts in the other. A link carrying your code reaches them where they're already buying.

Commission rate is set per code in basis points (so a 1500 bps code earns 15% of the order subtotal) — agreed case-by-case on application, with the rate keyed to audience fit rather than a fixed headline. Payouts run monthly once orders clear the refund window: pending balances flip to paid, and the next scheduled payout covers the cleared amount. Your stats are visible from your code, not hidden behind a portal login.

How attribution works
60-day cookie window from any deep link carrying your code.
Share a link carrying your code — anything from a banner image to a footnote in a forum post. The visitor's browser is set a "ih_ref" cookie for 60 days; if they buy any IronHead guide inside that window, the order writes a ReferralAttribution row tied to your code. Attribution is permanent: even if they buy a year later, the credit is locked to your code at the moment of the click.
Code shape and approval
You pick the slug; we approve by hand to keep audience fit honest.
Codes are 3-64 characters, lowercase letters, digits, and dashes, starting with a letter or digit — for example "cmsnl-2026" or "vts-triumph". Applications are approved by hand, mostly to filter for genuine audience fit: a vendor or publisher whose readers are mid-restoration projects. We turn down coupon-book farms and lookalike scrapers; we say yes to anyone whose audience we'd actually buy from.
